It has been a while since I shared some photos from my stock shoots, so thought I would post a couple from an Easter shoot I did today. As with all my holiday celebrating, I prefer a very simple, understated approach, which is reflected in the images I shoot. Hope you like them :)
A few shots featuring props from days (long) gone by; vintage never seems to go out of fashion.
Well, every day is the most wonderful time of the year, but around the holidays, everything does seem to feel a little more magical.
As my friends will know, I like very simple things, and the holidays are no exception. Here are a few minimal/simplistic holiday shots from a shoot I did earlier today... this is just the way I like my holiday decor :)
...and yet more beautiful than words can describe.
I never tire of capturing nature, as can be seen here :)
I just love the simple beauty of Mother Nature's gifts, which I tried to capture in as minimalistic a set-up as I could for Thanksgiving... nothing but pure natural sunlight, beautiful blooms and some miniature pumpkins, but for me this is just perfect.
What can I say, I do ❤ flowers :)
...never work with children or animals; today I worked with both, and it was wonderful. Here are a few shots from today's session.
... that's what little girls are made of, and this little girl is super sweet :)
Three from a recent shoot I shared with her mom.
Just a couple of quick shots from a wonderful morning spent with a great friend, amidst this beautiful earth we live on.
... especially this beautiful doggy, who just happens to be the best and most loving doggy in the whole world :)
My sweet doggy was a great model for a couple of test shots with the 85mm 1.4 lens. Wow, what a lens.
Today I tried shooting in natural window light with some fresh oregano. Too bad these aren't scratch and sniff images, as the oregano filled the room with the wonderful aroma of a Mediterranean kitchen, which reminded me of childhood summers spent in Italy.
Here are just a couple of early shots...
Nothing like total freedom and the wind in your hair, or fur :)
The lazy, hazy, dog days of summer are here...
